Pelbo egg washing equipment is designed to be integrated with breaking equipment and washes eggs with a maximum of 225,360 eggs/hour (626 cph). Pelbo egg washing lines are built to respect customer cleaning specifications (washing time, sanitizing, drying, egg inspection, etc.).
There are two different Pelbo egg washing technologies:
- PW Pelbo egg washers can be display in line after a grader o a chicken house for example or of line receiving eggs from a loader, accumulator or any other loading equipment.
- PWJ Pelbo egg washers can be displayed off line and have to be loaded with bulk eggs. After the PWJ more PW Pelbo egg washers can be mounted.
In general Pelbo egg washing modules can be put together in order to conform a complete egg cleaning line. The Pelbo egg washers are equipped with a combination of robust spray nozzles and brushes. All of them are made in stainless steel and produced with the high finishing standards of Pelbo. High capacity pumps are used for recirculating the washing water, which passes through a two layer filter plus an inline filter. Heating the washing water can be done either by direct steam injection or by means of a heat exchanger. Final rinse is combined with a dosing pump to add a disinfectant solution prior to the optional final drying phase. Powerful dryers can be added to the washer to remove residual water before breaking. Pelbo egg washers are constructed entirely out of stainless steel. They can be manufactured in different layouts, to meet your specific needs.
